Waypoint has become an industry leader in credit union auditing and consulting. We strive to deliver the highest quality services at the most affordable prices. For over 30 combined years, owners Barry Lynch and Greg Schmidt have dedicated their careers to working with credit union leadership, specializing in audit procedures, training for both staff and directors, compliance reviews, internal control testing, policy development, & consulting, including long-term strategic business planning. In order to expand and to begin taking on employees, in 2011, Waypoint Advisory Services, Inc., was formed as a combination of Barret T. Lynch, LLC, and Greg R. Schmidt, LLC, now serving over 45 federally insured credit unions in and around the Texas Panhandle and beyond, with plans to expand into several other areas in the United States, including the Dallas metroplex, Ohio, and South Carolina.
