WE Global Women Foundation

This community was created to mark the International Day of Girl Child on Oct 11th. On December 19, 2011, the United Nations General Assembly adopted Resolution 66/170 to declare October 11 as the International Day of the Girl Child, to recognize girls' rights and the unique challenges girls face worldwide. Initially, a LinkedIn group was created on Oct 11,2020 during the pandemic and subsequently, a FB group was also made to reach out to a greater number of people. We have already applied for the permission to form a foundation. The community's name i.e., WE GLOBAL WOMEN stands for reaching a Global financial alliance for women's career advancement in banking and finance through knowledge sharing, networking, and coaching. The Logo has been specially designed to reflect harmony and balance among all genders, cultures, and perceptions, an important milestone for achieving a broader goal such as Women's Development.
