Wellness Psychological Services (Wellness) is the brainchild of young psychologists who found that the biggest barrier to Ugandan’s help-seeking is stigma and a lack of knowledge about mental illness. As a result, Wellness seeks to increase awareness of stigma linked to mental health problems and to increase the community’s understanding of mental health. Our hope is to be part of an East Africa that is more inclusive and better able to support people’s mental health and wellbeing.
