WeNet (previously YFSC) is Yemen's National Financial Switch interbank network. Founded in 2006 by 12 local and international banks as a Payments System Infrastructure. It is approved by the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) as the payment hub for all banks in Yemen. WeNet is the largest interoperable ATM network in the country controlling most of the domestic interbank ATM transactions.
WeNet acts in the long-term interests of the Yemeni society and its contributions assist in boosting economic development and financial inclusion, thereby increasing the quality of life across all segments of society.
WeNet's main activities is to facilitate and process all payments in real time between the point of customer interaction (ATM, POS, eWallets) and the bank’s processing system. Service offerings range from payment products & services for banks and retails.
