Whidbey Community Foundation (WCF) envisions a more vibrant, healthy, and unified Whidbey Island community. Our mission is to improve the quality of life on Whidbey Island by providing support for the nonprofit sector, assisting donors to build and preserve enduring assets for charitable purposes, and meeting community needs through financial awards.
As a community foundation, we act as an independent, publicly supported philanthropic organization established and operated to build a permanent collection of endowed funds for the long-term benefit of Whidbey Island. We actively seek financial contributions and provide grants to support a broad range of charitable activities on Whidbey. WCF also provides technical support to nonprofits through training and networking. We know that supporting nonprofit organizations allows Whidbey, and the people who call Whidbey home, to thrive now and in the future.
