Our founder, Tommy Williams served as Senior Advisor for Fiscal Matters for Governor Greg Abbott from October 2017 until December 2019. Earlier in his career he served as Vice-Chancellor for Federal and State Relations for the Texas A&M System. Prior to working in the TAMU System, Williams was a Texas State Representative from 1997-2003, and a Texas State Senator from 2003-2013. While in the Senate, he served as Chairman of three different committees: The Finance Committee, Transportation and Homeland Security Committee, and the Administration Committee. During his legislative career, Williams was a respected leader on budget, education, transportation, and tax issues.
