Windcrest Economic Development Corporation

The Windcrest Economic Development Corporation (the "WEDC") is a Type B corporation authorized by The Development Corporation Act of 1979. This organization was established to promote the creation of new and expanded business activity and to promote a wide range of civic and commercial projects within the City of Windcrest. The City of Windcrest is a suburban community, originally incorporated in 1959. Once a rural community, Windcrest has now been surrounded by the continued growth of San Antonio and communities to the North. Any citizen or business representative having an idea on a project, which would contribute to business or community development is encouraged to contact the WEDC Executive Director or a member of the Board of Directors.
