Responsible for the health, welfare, and mission readiness of up to 30 cadre/staff and 135 assigned Soldiers , task organized into 4 multi-component platoons; provides primary care, case management, social work, occupational therapy, physical and mental fitness, transition assistance, leadership and command and control for all assigned or attached personnel and their Family members; implements all directives of the Army Medical Action Plan to ensure Warriors receive the care they have earned; integrates services from William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Installation Management Command, Fort Bliss, Western Region Medical Command, Veteran's Affairs, and Warrior Transition Command into holistic and multi-disciplinary plans for each Soldier. Ensures Company is correcting any deficiencies found during annual battalion Organizational Inspection Program conducted by Warrior Transition Command. Promotes Equal Opportunity and implements the Warrior Transition Battalion's Safety Program.

Serves as Company Commander of a Forward Support Company, part of an Infantry Battalion in an Infantry Brigade Combat Team. Ultimately responsible for the ability of the company to fight and win in combat. Responsible for planning and executing individual training of the Soldiers and collective training of the company towards full mission readiness in support of the battalion combat service support missions and state emergency missions. Responsible for sustaining mission readiness of materials and property valued over $4 million. Responsible for the health, welfare, training , and professional development of Soldiers assigned to the company. Enforces the highest standards in Soldier appearance, morale, discipline, and safety.

Provide the Battalion Commander with information on all logistics operations in the areas of supply, services, transportation, and resource management supporting and sustaining operations and training events within the command consisting of 9 companies and over 980 personnel. Forecasts supply requirements and recommends support, supply priorities, and controlled supply rates. Coordinates therequisitioning, acquisitioning, and storage of all classes of supply and equipment, and the maintenance of material records worth over $123million. Executes Command Supply Discipline Program, Physical Security inspections and assists the Organizational Inspection Program inorder to advise the Commander on all logistics services and support the full spectrum of operations.

Responsible for the welfare, morale, discipline, and mission success of over 200 assigned military personnel. Tasked to employ effectively, available time and resources in order to rehabilitate wounded Soldiers and successfully transition them back to Active, Reserve, and National Guard component units or as responsible veterans into the civilian population. Responsible for maintaining command and control of Soldiers engaged in Warrior Transition Operations. Plans and executes training designed to prepare recovering Soldiers for reintegration into the Army's available force structure. In charge of providing vision, direction, and inspiration to unit personnel to achieve success. Coordinates the efforts of military and civilian medical personnel to achieve the fastest and most complete recovery possible for injured service members. Responsible for the professional development of subordinate leaders.

Serves as Operations Officer in a Heavy Equipment Transport Transportation Company consisting of a headquarters platoon, maintenance platoon, and two truck platoons located at Fort Bliss and a detachment with two truck platoons located in Killeen, Texas with a total of 271 assigned Soldiers; prepares operational SOPs and coordinates them with higher units; maintains visibility over all employed company truck assets; maintains operational records and statistical reports; inspects operational and unit dispatch areas; plans and supervises training and Soldier education programs for the company; performs training inspections; advises the commander on operational, security, and training matters; responsible for the safety and health and welfare of all assigned Soldiers and Family members.
