Wingback is an independent creative design studio founded by Alasdair MacLaine in 2014 and based in the heart of London. We stand for an alternative to mass production and disposable culture. Everything we make is designed to be a pleasure to use, to improve with age and become a cherished item passed down through generations. We’re proud to work with our trusted suppliers from around Britain. Our leather goods are laser cut and hand stitched in Islington, our machined components are built in Birmingham and our recyclable packaging comes from Barking. The finishing touches on everything we make is done by hand in our London workshop. Uniting the precision of modern manufacturing with the longevity of traditional handmade design, we create exceptional items in Britain designed for any journey, from commutes through the capital to adventures along the Jurassic Coast.
