WingMan acquires the imagery collected from a UAV or Aerial platforms using medium to large format sensors. Triangulation is then run from a WingMan photogrammetrist to create the project files necessary for value added products like a seamless color balanced orthomosaic. It's important to mention the orthorectified images are first output as separate files and not simply merged into a DSM, mesh, or mosaic file. This allows for more accurate seamline placement around (not through) buildings and utility towers. Furthermore, vignetting and color balancing can be accounted for or eliminated before the final mosaic is processed. These darker fringes of the image area, (vignetting) inherent with Imagery collection can be cropped (using the meat of the image data) or hotspot mitigated for a more homogenous mosaic, not simply blended/feathered incorrectly. The triangulated project files can also be used to create other value-added products like capturing breaklines in a stereo environment for accurate ground DTM and planimetrics.
