About Arlene Sonday Arlene Sonday is a Founding Fellow and the first President of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators, the only professional Orton-Gillingham credentialing organization. She has served as Vice President of the International Dyslexia Association and the organization presented Arlene with the Margaret Byrd Rawson Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009.
