Women's World On Wheels (Women's WOW)

Women’s World On Wheels (Women’s WOW), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to meeting the identified needs of female wheelchair users. We strive to be a catalyst for our members’ emotional wellness as well as their physical, professional, financial, and personal success. We want to empower movement and give wheelchair users the ability to experience all life has to offer. How we do this: We host an annual three-day summer camp in Colorado which offers women in wheelchairs the chance to engage in outdoor recreational activities and join in wellness seminars to create an unforgettable experience. While this is the main event of the organization, Women’s WOW influences through our website that offers resources, support, and gives users the opportunity to connect year-round. Here we host webinars, share insights and stories, and have important discussions that bring women with disabilities together in a non-judgmental environment.
