World Against Rape - WAR is an initiative by citizens, developing a community of individuals committed to act against rape and abuse in the society. Citizens connect through an app and are accessible to each other in the times of need. Women or men in an emergency can raise an alarm by tapping the Send Alarm button and Citizens in the vicinity come to their rescue. Parallely, a notification is also sent to the local police and friends & family network. Through the initiative, the community is determined to address and alleviate rape and abuse in the country. The app is accessible to civilians across the country, and aims to connect over 20 million people within the next few months
