World Merit is an international network of people rising up to tackle the most pressing issues that our world currently faces by connecting online to learn from each other and make the impact in the real world. World Merit works by the 80/20 principle. Merit HQ Team does 20% of the work which sets up the community to be able to do the other 80% Merit Pokhara, a youth-led charity organization, is a Local Merit Council ( LMC ) of World Merit, working on United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals along with other social-economic aspects. We aim to build confidence and raise aspirations. We want to be a force for social mobility and a source of hope. We award opportunities to those individuals who take action to make their local communities better. We connect passionate people with the skills and experience they need to prosper in a field that they identify with. Ultimately our Mission and Vision reflects our ambition to support global youth and offer opportunities for everyone to reach their potential and change the world. Since the date of establishment, we’ve been organizing various events and campaigns associated with technical education, entrepreneurship, social status upliftment and exposure enhancement like 60 seconds International Film Festival Screening at Pokhara, Provincial level SDG Festival at province no. 4, Unfolding Chapters campaign for Engineering Scholars, campaign Enlightening the Rural, National Level Slam Poetry Competition and so on. Our team comprises of technical scholars with expertise in different fields. In each campaign, we ensure that no one is left behind from getting access to quality and affordable knowledge in any field. Here We have a Good News to Every Passionate Changemaker!
