Woza Moya

Woza Moya, an initiative of the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust, serves as an economic empowerment project within the broader context of a holistic HIV/AIDS program that commenced in 1991. The organisation is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals affected by HIV/AIDS through practical and sustainable care. Woza Moya focuses on providing craft skills training to those in desperate need, enabling them to earn income by selling their crafts. The organisation purchases these crafts from the crafters and sells them through Woza Moya shops and an ecommerce store, channelling income back into vulnerable communities at the epicentre of the pandemic.
