About VetNet Program (Working Wardrobes)

Working Wardrobes is an independent nonprofit organization that strives to empower men, women, young adults, and veterans overcoming difficult challenges to confidently enter the workforce and achieve self-sufficiency. Our VetNet Program supports the men, women and families of our Military Veterans and transitioning Service Members through a variety of services and programs. We provide workforce readiness services, career and job training, job placement assistance, and professional wardrobe services in an environment of dignity and respect. Our Veteran Team assists fellow Veterans and spouses experiencing career obstacles, homelessness, and military-civilian transition. Our proprietary PowerUP® program offers transitioning service members support with the challenges faced during this time with the mindset shift from a military to a civilian culture. We also support chronically and transitionally homeless veterans through the Department of Labor’s Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP) with supportive services, job training, and placement into employment. This is achieved through a dedicated VetNet Staff and an army of volunteers who step in to guide the entire transition process. This process includes: Veteran Peer Navigation, Job Training, Career Readiness, Job Placement and Professional Wardrobe Services. Our guiding philosophy is a belief that people are more powerful than the barriers they face and that all clients share a common desire to achieve success. The greatest measure of their success is hearing a client say, "I got the job!"
