X-Wind Power

X-Wind Power are UK based designers and manufacturers of medium scale vertical-axis wind turbines X-Wind Power Ltd was formed in late 2010 by ex-Formula 1 designer Michael Blaize to develop an innovative 2-bladed vertical axis wind turbine for the medium wind market. In 2014, X-Wind finalised the design of an 80kW turbine (the XW-80) and entered into the early stages of manufacturing. Since 2013, X-Wind has won numerous grant awards and a regional growth fund loan, thus demonstrating the strength of their technology innovation and market potential. X-Wind now have a substantial and growing number of project opportunities across the UK, bringing new high value jobs to Kent.
