XPEED Turbine Technology LLC is an engineering service company dedicated to provide cost effective technologies to make wind turbines more efficient, to make wind energy more competitive and to improve wind farms profitability. XTT was created to license a novel patented device (aerodynamic deflector) that increases wind power efficiency for any existing or new wind turbine. It also address wind farm owners issues related to limited land space, high capital costs for installing turbines and long-term delays in returns on investments (ROIs).
XTT's mission is to bring innovative solutions to wind turbines in land and off-shore to improve their annual energy production and at the same time reduce the cost of energy. XTT will fill a niche between OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and large Wind Farm Owners, in which it will bring to both of them large improvements in efficiency. To the former, the aerodynamic deflectors can be incorporated in new turbine blade design so that they can boost their performance without increasing the turbine size. To the Wind Farms, it will provide additional revenue to their already established farms.
