NanoInk Imaging is advancing an optical imaging technology licensed from Rutgers University that is based on patented targeted nanoparticles that enable imaging in the short-wave infrared range.
Imaging over this new optical window provides target-specific, high contrast visualization of small tumors in both the drug discovery and clinical spaces.
In the drug discovery space, our technology will enable researchers to clearly image tumor cells, immune cells and other aspects of the tumor microenvironment in order to better monitor responses to experimental drugs in small animal tumor models.
In the clinical space, our technology will help to guide cancer surgeons in the OR by allowing them to better visualize cancers and tumor margins in real time, thus improving the quality of cancer surgery outcomes and reducing re-operation rates.
