Crossroads International Church (Kerkgenootschap) was founded in 1987 by three families from the United States who thought the church should be totally relevant to people’s everyday’s lives. A church for unchurched people, a different kind of church reaching different kinds of people. On March 8, 1993, we were officially registered as ANBI (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling) and entitled to participate as a legal entity in civil procedures. Crossroads is based in Amsterdam but boasts members from a wider region.
Since then, Crossroads has grown into an international community with more than 2000 people from more than 40 different nationalities. The majority are expatriates, but we also have a large group of Dutch nationality. We are a family orientated community with ages ranging from newborn to 65+, with the majority between 36 to 50 years old.
We meet as a large group on Sundays with average attendance around 700 people and we have many smaller groups meeting during the week for courses, events and other activities focused on different age groups.
We welcome you to our live service at 09:30 (with kids programmes) and 11:30 at the Hermann Wesselink College.
