Yankee Security Convention Inc.

Yankee Security Convention, Inc., a not-for-profit trade organization, was formed in 1978 by a group of New England locksmiths. Through their dedication to the industry and a keen understanding that the region needed a venue to showcase the advancement of the trade, its first show was successfully held in Chicopee, MA. Drawing from various credible sources such as ALOA and other prominent trade organizations, instructors from around the nation were commissioned to teach the latest techniques and diverse applications to industry beginners as well as seasoned professionals. The 3-day classroom venue was topped off with a weekend trade show, featuring the nation’s top manufacturers, distributors, and manufacturer’s representatives. Localized in the Northeast region of the United States, the conference continues to retain its New England charm by hosting the event in Sturbridge, MA, a town richly steeped in colonial American history. Today, the Board of Directors continues the tradition of excellence incorporated over 35 years ago by their total commitment to making each annual event the premier source of industry know-how in the Northeast.
