Yellow Balloon Therapy is a child-centred play therapy. Our goal is, to provide space for children to develop skills and abilities for social interactions as well as emotional regulation.
As a child in a refugee camp, play was the remedy for tackling the challenges and traumas of camp life. During play time, I would express emotions which I would not have been able to verbalise and suddenly, the camp became a happy place to be in that moment. My goal is to provide children with the same opportunity to express their feelings through play.
