We are a Molecular Pharmacology Research Group at Saarland University's Center for Molecular Signaling (PZMS), led by Prof. Dr. Daniela Yildiz. Our research focuses on understanding the roles of 'a disintegrin and metalloproteinase' (ADAM) proteases in cancer, inflammatory, and infectious diseases.
Currently, our primary focus is to explore the role of ADAMs in extracellular vesicles and their impact on intra-organ communication and disease progression. Through our research, we aim to uncover molecular mechanisms that drive disease and identify potential therapeutic targets.
