We at Yaumati Kaifong Association School believe in providing quality education for all, regardless of race, language or religion. We place emphasis on students' literacy, numeracy, bilingualism, physical education, moral and civic education, and creative and independent thinking skills. Computer-based programmes are also introduced in school to promote independent learning and enhance higher order thinking skills in students. Our school epitomizes a global community, with students of various nationalities from China, India, Nepal, Pakistan, The Philippines, Korea, Brazil, and other parts of the world. We hold the belief that education should be impartial and the rights of all students, regardless of race, language or religion. English is the medium of instruction in all subjects except Chinese, however we stress on bilingualism in school, thus equipping our students with the basic knowledge of Chinese. We have a vibrant Parents Teachers Association wherein parents and teachers have a regular consultation regarding the education of children. Parents are encouraged to take active part in the education of their children both at school and at home. They are likewise involved in the out-of-school activities of the children like going to the Peak, Ocean Park, Tso Kung Tam Camp etc. We strongly believe in maintaining good communication between our school and parents, that any feedbacks are welcomed and can be dealt with positively, so that we can move ahead together for the betterment of our school.
