André du Preez is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher with 23 years of practice, 18 of those under a Senior Advanced Iyengar Yoga Teacher, as well as attending many retreats of some of the best Iyengar Yoga Teachers in the world. With a background in Alexander Technique, Transcendental Meditation, TRE and a lifetime of competitive sport, André's focus is very much on ease of movement, kindness to self and avoiding harm by identifying and removing repetitive stress injury patterns.
Iyengar Yoga is accessible for all ages and all body types. It is known for its focus on precision and timing and the use of props, which were designed by Mr Iyengar and help the practitioner to achieve perfection in any asana.
