Young Actors Assembly

At Young Actors Assembly, our mission is simple: We create a world of leaders by coaching young people to discover their purpose. The Young Screen Actor + Filmmaker program is the only class in Australia that arms aspiring young actors with the tools to act up a storm, make lifelong friends, learn from the industry's best coaches and build a 20-minute film for the cinema screen. A new type of leadership is being called for in the world, and our holistic approach towards training and development generates original thinking and celebrates the diverse range of cultural perspectives that reflects throughout our community. Our programs are creating results, and we are proud of the YAA graduates who have moved into professional careers within and beyond the film, theatre and television industries. The Australian film industry is growing rapidly, and we are serious about building a legacy for future generations. Our vision is not only to make exciting content but to create the infrastructure to support the creative practice of young people serious about moving into the field of storytelling, acting, filmmaking & leadership.
