Forward incoming general e-mails to the appropriate staff member
Forward voice mail from the general mailbox to the appropriate staff member
Purchase, receive and store the office supplies ensuring that basic supplies are always available
Code and file material according to the established procedures
Update and ensure the accuracy of the organization's databases
Back-up electronic files using proper procedures
Provide secretarial and administrative support to management and other staff
Make travel, meeting and other arrangements for staff
Coordinate the maintenance of office equipment
Legal Assistant
Assist, draft and complete purchase and sale agreement for residential properties
Assist on all aspects of residential real estate transactions (purchase, sale and mortgage)
Assist, draft and complete Wills and Powers of Attorney for Property and Personal Care
Assist, draft and complete administration documents for probate applications, other court forms and reporting documentation
Assist, draft and complete simple or joint divorce applications
Assist, draft and complete Landlord and Tenant forms including Ontario Residential Tenancy Agreement
Assist, draft and complete traveling with a child consent form
Assist in interpretation of legal documents
Assist to open, close, update files and file them appropriately
