About Zephyr – sustainable fashion made in London
Zephyr is a London based sustainable accessories brand created by London College of Fashion alumna and winner of Kering Award for Sustainable Fashion, Tiphaine Marie Pittet. The aim of the brand is to question and challenge destructive fashion industry standards by exploring a new approach to design and production. Every aspect of the creative process is informed and structured by sustainability and a fundamental respect for the environment and garment workers. From the outer material to the lining, including interlining and label; from the dust bag to the cardboard box the bag is shipped in – everything is as earth friendly as possible. All Zephyr products are made from 100% vegan, GOTS certified organic materials, and the production takes place in a fair-trade, transparent and ethical London workshop that empowers long term unemployed women from the local community by teaching them how to sew and providing them with support and access to work opportunities. Zephyr is also committed to donating 1% of all sales to environmental nonprofits.
