Association of Youth Information Centres in Croatia

Association of youth information centres in Croatia is national umbrella orzanization for work on providing youth information with goal to develop quality youth information system in Croatia. Target groups are youth info center and NGO-s which provide different information for youth. Association is also connected with European youth information and counselling agency (ERYICA). Main fields of activity: - providing networking possibilities for member organizations - supporting development of youth information centres - setting standards for youth information work and ensuring development of youth information system in Croatia - influencing in defining public youth policy in Croatia - providing advocacy for active youth participation in society and community - promoting and implementing examples of good practice of youth work and youth information work in EU and other countries - promoting formal and non-formal education and life-long learning - promoting equality and tolerance between young people regardless gender, race, nationality, disability, religion and sexual orientation - supporting development of its members through staff education and organizations capacity building
