Born in 1924, Nevzat Özgörkey, one of Turkey's most prestigious and respectable entrepreneurs, established four Coca-Cola bottling plants in the Aegean and Mediterranean regions and two in Romania from 1967 up until the formation of Özgörkey Holding in 1997. He also co-founded Ege Biracılık, Anadolu Efes's first brewery in Turkey. In 1997, he formed Özgörkey Holding with his sons Cemal and Armağan Özgörkey.
