The leisure industry is one of the highest foreign income generators and the fastest developing industries in the country. It is no wonder then that the Asia Capital Group has expanded its reach to include this sector through its leisure arm, Asia Leisure Pvt. Ltd.
The scope of Asia Leisure Pvt Ltd. includes the nurturing of high end leisure properties, the likes of The Park Street Hotel in Colombo, Tamarind Hill Hotel in Galle and The River House in Balapitiya, of which the latter was the very first Sri Lankan property to be featured in the popular Conde Nast Traveller's exclusive list - the Hottest New Hotels in the World. In addition, the Tamarind Hotel in Galle was the proud recipient of the Gold Award at the International Quality Summit Awards designated by BID Business Initiative Directions in New York.
Currently, the leisure entity is looking at harnessing the demand of budget beach accommodation that has engulfed the North and East of the country, consequent to the end of a 30 year civil war. In addition, plans are also underway to add another hotel at heart of the cultural triangle, the newest addition to our portfolio.
