Auf diese Weise erzeugte Kohlenstoffmaterialien können als Energiespeicher im Kontext der Elektromobilität, Wasserstoffspeicher für Brennstoffzellen
oder Elektrodenmaterial für Brennstoffzellen und Batterien Verwendung finden.
Um die Nachhaltigkeit der Prozesse gewährleisten zu können wird die ganze
Wertschöpfungskette berücksichtigt: „Vom Feld zum Produkt“ und auch vom Produkt, nach Ende der Lebenszeit, wieder zum Feld (z.B. in Form von Nährstoffen, die während der Produktion freigesetzt und gezielt zurückgewonnen werden).
