The problem Presslocal sought to solve was the provision of local newsfrom a trusted source, on a consistent basis. They know there are important stories not being covered anymore, questions not being asked anymore that matter to local citizens.

Users would decide what local meant to them - their manor, town, village, city - by using map navigation, and by bookmarking favorite locations: their home, where their folks or kids love, and check out trending hotspots.
