ארגון 'סאסא סטון' בחר לפתח ולקדם את החינוך ל'חיים בשותפות' כייחודיות ארגונית המושתתת על מציאות חיים מרובת קבוצות זהות, הקיימת בסביבת העבודה החינוכית שבתוך בתי הספר שבבתי החולים. מתוך הייחודיות הארגונית, נגזרת פעילותנו, תוכניות הפעילות המעשירות את הלימוד והפדגוגיה. החיים בשותפות הם ערך מוסף הייעודי והייחודי אשר יוביל את עשייתנו למען הילדים המאושפזים בבתי החולים במדינת ישראל. "חיים בשותפות" בבתי הספר שבבתי חולים מביאים לידי ביטוי את מציאות החיים הנתונה מעצם המפגש היומיומי בין מגוון קבוצות זהות – יהודים דתיים וחילוניים, ערבים, דרוזים, צ'רקסים, ותיקים ועולים, משפחות חד הוריות, מרכז, פריפריה ועוד. קבוצות אלו מקיימות ביניהן דיאלוג ועשייה חינוכית משותפת, בין הצוות חינוכי, התלמידים וההורים
