SOLACE FOUNDATION is a voluntary organization works in kerala, india which is registered under the societies Registration Act. It works in Kerala, India. It was Founded by a group of young professionals who came together to set up an NGO to work with grassroots initiatives for effecting positive changes in the lives of underprivileged children, individuals who face constraints in life and their families and communities. It also works for the conservation of western Ghats and its environmental diversity and spread the conservation The main working area of the organization is Education and Environment. WHAT WE DO ? We do Activities for the empowerment of the under- privileged by way of facilitating the development of their resources through the provision of education, training, health care, entrepreneurial development, employment activities and other development activities. To facilitate quality higher education, skills training, vocational training and self-development programs to youth with a view to developing their potential and equipping them not just for employment or entrepreneurship but for the holistic development of the society and nation. To establish, maintain and carry out programmes for the provision of relief to disadvantaged sections of the population and to work towards rebuilding their lives and securing their place in the fabric of society. To address the issues of youth and work for the holistic development of them. to contribute for preserving the natural environment through different programs. Organised various courses, vocational training programmes, coaching classes for competitive test and counseling programmes. Set up facilities like educational institutions, medical institutions, care homes To promote education amongst educationally backward sections of the society, SC,ST & minority in particular and others in general. To enable and empower persons with disabilities to live as independently and as fully as possible within and as close to the community to which they being. To provide for the whole range of community based services for identification, motivation, counseling, dedication, after care and rehabilitation of addicts. Generate greater awareness on issues pertaining to aged, disabled and enhance measures to address these issues. Full and wholesome development of children without homes and family ties. Organise capacity Development programmes for local self Governments, NGO’s, Government Departments / Institutions, corporate etc. To undertake welfare activities in collaboration with Local Self Governments, Government Departments and other non-Government organizations. To work for communal harmony and national integration. To work towards enhancing harmony in the country and to take all such steps as may be necessary and desirable to promote it.
