"Union Sapari" is a feminist non-governmental organization that has been fighting for the empowerment of women for more than 20 years, using various methods - starting with free legal assistance for victims of gender-based violence, ending with large-scale information campaigns.
We have a team of professional lawyers with many years of experience, who help women victims of violence completely free of charge: they provide consultation, identify the problem, explain, give direction, respond to the preparation of legal documentation, communication with law enforcement structures and, if necessary, defend their interests in courts of all instances, as in the country Inside and outside. Every step and decision of the employees of the organization is based on the interests of our beneficiaries.
In order to inform the society and increase gender sensitivity, we actively conduct informational and educational campaigns and meetings. Our main target audience is young people and women living in the regions. In addition, in this direction, we work with various professional groups - lawyers, prosecutors, representatives of local self-governments, etc.
One of the important directions of "Union Sapari" is research and production of evidence-based practice. We actively work in the direction of political advocacy - the organization is the initiator and author of any legislative proposal.
