1995 წლის ივლისში, დაფუძნდა საზოგადოებრივი ორგანიზაცია, “საქართველოს სტრატეგიული კვლევების და განვითარების ცენტრი”, რომელსაც გააჩნია სამოქალაქო სექტორში წარმატებული მუშაობის 20 წლიანი გამოცდილება.
ორგანიზაცია ორიენტირებულია ისეთ შედეგებზე, რომლებიც გარკვეულ პოზიტიურ ცვლილებებს მოუტანს, როგორც ცალკეულ ადამიანებს და ადამიანთა ჯგუფებს, ასევე მთლიანობაში საზოგადოებას. ამ მიზნით ცენტრი მუდმივად ხელს უწყობს საზოგადოების სხვადასხვა სფეროს წარმომადგენლებთან თანამშომლობითი ურთიერთობების დამყარებასა და გაღრმავებას.
