I am a junior at Merrimack College where I major in Criminology, with a focus in law enforcement, and a minor in Spanish as well. My fascination with the law enforcement field stems from my ambition of wanting to serve the community and provide immediate impacts. I enjoy what the work environment would be and the collaboration with my peers.I was apart of the Haverhill Police Department internship program in the summer of 2023. At the internship, I was shadowed and worked alongside officers in different units through ride alongs. I was able to sharpen my communication and critical thinking skills through this experience. At school, I have also completed relevant coursework such as Police Culture, Forensic Investigation, and Stats in Criminology. I am currently looking for a summer internship in the criminal justice field for the summer of 2024.
