Work with kids between the ages of 10-17 years old. Transport residents to and from appointments/activities, handing out medication, and providing services for their day-to-day lives. Physical restraints used when necessary, as well as writing critical/minor incident reports.

Aid in all classroom duties in a secondary school for children with mental disabilities that refrain them from learning in a public school classroom setting.

Provide therapeutic support to children with learning disabilities through numerous types of interventions, as well as providing detailed summaries of clients behaviors throughout a period of time and working towards long-term goals and short-term objectives to each goal based on the clients needs.

Opening and closing down store. Putting truck deliveries away. Checking in vendors for deliveries. Key holder. Take deposits to bank when opening. Counting money and preparing bank deposits when closing.

I assisted my supervisor, Dave Smith, with delivering tables, chairs, paper, and different types of packages all around the college campus. I had the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of people and maintained positive relationships with all of my co-workers.

I have been a camp counselor for students from the Youngstown, Ohio area beginning their incoming freshman year until they are rising seniors. This program allows them to further their knowledge on the college atmosphere, as well as give them the opportunity to visit three different colleges every year for the four years they are involved with the program. I was in charge of ensuring the children in the program are up for breakfast, walking them to class, lunch and dinner. I also was in charge of making sure that I knew what their homework assignments from class were, as well as helping them with whatever problems and issues they were dealing with. I have been a participant with this two-week camp for the past 3 years now, and I hope to continue doing it until they graduate for high school in 2017.

I was in charge of preparing ingredients for the pizza, such as the sauce, cheese, tomatoes, ham, dough, and onions. I would also be in charge of collaborating with other workers in order to make sufficient use of time with making the pizza and ensuring that it was done within a reasonable time frame to be either delivered, or picked up. I was an opener and closer for the store and would have to make sure that the house pizza and pepperoni rolls was always available for customers just wanting to get a quick bite to eat.

I was in charge of making sure that pizza, pasta, and desserts were always available on the buffet, as well as ensuring that pizzas were ready to be cooked and constantly in rotation with other pizzas already on the buffet. I was also in charge of taking personal requests, preparing ingredients for the pizza, dessert, and pasta. I cleaned up tables in the dining area after guests were to leave, cleaned the dishes, and also cut and stocked the buffet with the pizza. I was advanced to all of these positions after starting out as a cook and was able to open and close the store for each of the locations I worked with. I collaborated with many different people while working and never had any issues with anyone I worked with.

I worked this program over the course of when I was a rising junior in high school until I graduated. It taught me many things, such as the basic knowledge of receiving employment opportunities when going out into the real world. I was taught interviewing skills, job shadowing, communication skills, team building, and how to build up your resume.

I helped with making sure that the school was clean for the next day of classes. I cleaned hallways, restrooms, and the yards. During the winter months I made sure that the sidewalks were not icy and covered in snow. I would also mow the grass during the hotter months of the year.
