I support a team that monitor the water dams and wind farms and make sure that their systems are working to a good standard. Currently testing software to make sure it can run on their current systems and the systems they will be upgrading to in the near future.I also play a part in making sure that the networks required are working as they should and if they aren't making sure we follow certain procedures to ensure the systems are back up and running as quick as possible. When there are changes to firewalls, software updates, etc. I will run the applications that get used 24/7 on a test desk to make sure they all still function as they should before any updates are rolled out onto live desks.A small side project I am currently working on is setting up KVM's for each desk, we currently run 2 pc's each with their own job, on each desk. I am wiring up the KVM's with their LED's so the user can see where the mouse is across 8 monitors. This will allow each user to only require 1 set of Keyboard and Mouse giving them more desk space and less confusion.A common task that I do on a weekly basis is use NetSupport to access different PC's that are in a variety of locations to check their uptime's so the control rooms can plan on when to restart their machines. This also comes in handy when checking if different machines have the access required to specific applications without having to drive to each location for a five minute test.

testing the functionality of a variety of technologies to make sure they work as they should or if they have any damages. I would log all damages and make sure nothing is stored on the devices, such as a smart TV, prior to going into the auction so users data couldn't be leaked.

I worked in a variety of areas within the factory where I got to see the full process from food being delivered all the way to packaging. I worked on different shifts depending on when and where I was needed, which shows I am very flexible. I was trained on different machinery used for processing and cooking the food.

I worked here along side my studies which helps financially while also meeting new people. I have learned a lot during this job with time management and planning. I believe I will learn a lot more on the job. due to this being part time, allowed me to decide what days I can work so I can fit in my studies along side.

I recently worked here during the course of the pandemic as I was looking for new experience with the extra time on my hands while also working in another part time job. This job gave me new experiences with using technology for work, for answering calls and writing emails wasn't new to me but in the way I done them was different an new and very fast paced. unfortunately the job didn't last long as it was a start up that didn't quite make it. I did enjoy my time with my colleagues while working.

I have a description on this job that is more recent. the reason there is a gap is because of the Pandemic as the factory had to close and I was employed back once the factory started to open back up.

Main Duties: Serve customers at the tills and manage money at a quick pace. During my shifts, I would have to make sure that stock was filled and tidy.End of a shift I would organize the money made in the till and sort a till for the next day.

Main Duties: Deliver meals to customers tables once they are prepared, Polish the cutlery, do room services and set up for Breakfast at the end of my shift.
