The President owns creating the vision and driving the overall success of the long-term strategy and stability for the entire organization (staff of 200) with three unique and intertwined services: Groves Academy, Groves Learning Center, and Groves Literacy Partnerships. The President functions as the external face and voice of GLO, and partners with the Board of Trustees as well as all donors. As President, I was proud to drive the three most successful years, both academically and financially, for GLO. Key accomplishments included the following:--Complete organizational rebrand--Approval of a new 5 year strategic plan--New organizational philosophy for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB)--Record setting fundraising--Leadership through COVID--New Data Analytics governance philosophy--Systems integration--Growth from serving 1000+ students in 2020 to 8500+ in 2022

Responsible for leading the entire new site launch process: using consumer psychographic profiles to select new school locations; recruiting, hiring, and training every new team; ensuring operations, marketing, and enrollment success; reviewing the process and strategizing new methods for process improvement, etc.

Lead the Pacific Northwest region encompassing 8 different sites. Manage a regional support team. Deliver strategic and financial success to the organization. Prepare for continued regional growth of new sites.

Launch and lead the first Fusion Academy site in the Bay Area, grades 6-12. Deliver academic, enrollment, and team success. Design and implement curriculum; evaluate teacher effectiveness; community engagement with school districts, educators, and parents.

Relocated to London, UK to launch and direct the International HQ. Hired and trained the entire staff, scaled the business, partnered with UK schools, presented at international conferences and hosted one in London, researched and launched the next international location in Sydney Australia. Managed and directed a region of Learning Centers from San Francisco, to London, to Sydney.

A Literacy Trainer for Lindamood-Bell delivers 3-7 day workshops for teachers, parents, and educators in the proprietary literacy and cognition progams. I conducted this work nationally and internationally including in England, Wales, Scotland, Cyprus, and Germany.

The Center Director is responsible for the overall success of the academic program and the business of the Learning Center. This role hires, trains, and evaluates staff and also serves as the face of the location as well as the local expert on literacy. The CD also analyzes all diagnostic assessment and meets with families and clients on a periodic basis to discuss progress.
