Hello, my name is Patrick Hanley. I am a mechanical engineering student with a minor in management looking to build my career in an innovative company. As a senior at Miami University graduating in May 2025, I have experience with product development, project management, surveying, leadership, and teamwork. I am also proficient in various software programs including AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor Pro, and CATIA. Throughout my academic career and internships, I have gained hands-on experience in product development, project management, and the design and manufacturing of mechanical systems. At Honda, I worked on improving assembly line equipment, where I developed solutions that increased efficiency and reduced costs. My experience spans everything from designing components to conducting finite element analysis and material testing to ensure product durability and reliability.During my time at Miami University, I am strengthening my leadership and creativity skills through my involvement with Engineers Without Borders and the Lilly Leadership Institute. During my time with Engineers Without Borders - Miami Chapter, I have served as Local Projects Assistant Manager, Corporate Outreach Chair, and am currently the Secretary. As Local Projects Assistant Manager, I helped design and complete paperwork for a $25,000 bridge and executed topographic surveying at the site's location along with many other things.
