Second year master's student pursuing a MS degree focused in Information Management at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.I have a keen interest in applying data science and machine learning principles to solve business problems. Recently, I completed a 12 week long internship as a data analyst at Cepheid where I was responsible for preparing and analyzing data related to root causes of medical instrument failures. I was involved in research regarding users' risk perceptions towards AI technologies (with a special focus on autonomous vehicles and recommendation algorithms) and its role in technology adoption. I have extensive experience in text mining and have worked with state of the art deep learning text classification models, topic models, and sentiment analysis modules, to name a few.I am the ex-head of data analytics at SIGMA - The Business Club of NITT where I worked with sophomore and junior year students and oversaw multiple projects in the intersection of data science and business.
