Overseas

- Provide field engineering and integration support on Kestrel Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance sensors on UAS Aerostat operations.- Serve as Customer Liaison, analyzes sensor data to solve tactical military and intelligence problems utilizing both real time and forensics techniques.- Train personnel on Kestrel Sensor as outlined for the unit assigned at each Area of Responsibility.- Coordinate with other sensor systems such as the Wescam MX-20s. Sported further analysis and exploitation of mission data.- Maintain regular weekly communications with onsite customer. Provide overall status of Logos systems deployed throughout AORs.- Provide ongoing program support and direction for area technical personnel.- Advise Unit Commander on feasibility, functionality and capabilities of systems assigned to the AOR.- Perform before, during and after installation checks of the Kestrel systems to ensure all components are functional and operational.- Maintained a productivity/support rate higher than any other employee in theater.

- Operates, maintains and replaces L3 Wescam MX15i, MX15HDi, MX15Di, FLIR380HD and Star Sapphire HD cameras for 22M and 28M Aerostats.- Performs Cisco switch programming to include TCP/IP and Ethernet protocols; oversees installation of multiple computers attached to the Cisco switch.- Designs Analog-to-SDI mini converters Full 1080p video, lowrate video and computer video inputs routed to multiple monitors via DVI and composite matrixes in a rack mounted, closed system.- Operates Vista Research Systems (aerostat) and Stara SR Hawk (tower) radar systems.- Maintains and troubleshoots VoiceOverIP (VoIP) phones (Cisco SPA and LinkSys) and Ageon Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) FullMotion video systems.- Acts as Primary Point of Contact for communications to the PSS OEF FSR hub and for CONUS FSR support; submits daily FSR SITREP on site technical issues.

Afghanistan

- Oversaw site maintenance, troubleshooting, inventory and local logistics issues; serves as an operator as required.- Performed and logged periodic generator and support equipment maintenance; platform and aerostat system maintenance; PGST maintenance; and GCS/CGCS maintenance.- Carried out and logged periodic payload maintenance troubleshooting and upgrades.- Executed primary troubleshooting and break/fix solutions for site issues and interfaces with the PSS OEF FSR hub for higher-level support solutions.- Tracked and implemented relevant site FMKs/ECPs/SBs; assisted floating FSRs when on-site; maintained and acquired signal for internet communications.- Utilized the ASTS inventory management system to keep site inventory up-to-date utilizing processes and procedures set forth by the PSS logistics lead.- Communicated serial numbers, operational hours and other information to the PSS OEF FSR hub.- Oversaw all site equipment ordering following processes and procedures set by the PSS logistics lead; supervises perform site equipment movement.- Performed normal/abbreviated operator shifts as necessary in conjunction with the site kead to ensure optimal manning of aerostat and tower system.

Afghanistan

- Supported and maintained 12 aircraft phases including the repair and replacement of analog control panels, flight controls systems and major components.- Adjusted, repaired or replaced defective components, assemblies and wiring; performed quality assurance inspections of components; ensured an avionics readiness rate of 95%.- Repaired and rebuilt aircraft structures and powertrain systems, landing gear, fuselage, and rotors systems.- Field tested and adjusted engine components, including fuel controls, pumps, valves and regulators.- Advised leadership on issues concerning maintenance, servicing and inspecting aircraft.
