I used to skateboard competitively, competing against females from all over the country. I would practice everyday for hours learning new tricks and perfecting what I already knew. There were certain times when I would try something new and I would be so frustrated with not being able to accomplish it, but it taught me a valuable lesson: to never give up. Learning something new requires a lot of hard work and determination. I know I will be able to incorporate my determination and work etiquette into my daily tasks and I am willing to go the extra mile and spend as long as it takes to accomplish my goals. I would like to share my skills with others, while also implementing what I learn from my peers.I am also passionate about helping people. As a tutor, I enjoy helping individuals who come to me with any questions. I continued to work with them and explained things various ways until the understood a certain concept. My favorite part is seeing their face the moment their frustration disappears replaced by a grin from ear to ear. I would like to continue to meet new people and help them solve their problems.
