Working on Google Cloud to iterate upon congestion control algorithms to improve internet performance.

President:Leading team of students working on three different projects: AUVSI SUAS competition, NASA USRC challenge, and the IEEE competition. Hold weekly meetings/leadership meetings, set overall club direction, complete grants/applications.Controls Team Director:Use PX4 and ROS to develop controls software; heavily contributed to top 20 submission in First Responders Challenge (won 10k prize). Researched drone obstacle avoidance using RRT and explored using modified Hilbert curves/other algorithms to effectively survey given target areas. Wrote a simulation for battery voltage estimates over time in C++ for testing purposes.

SDE Intern as part of the Google Cloud Team who worked on TCP congestion control. Experimented with application layer rate limiting approaches for all of Google Cloud's data servers. Developed internal tools for rpc testing/visualization/plotting.

One of among ~200 ambassadors from around the world who was responsible for conducting AI research, presenting at Intel events, and exposing new people to the field of artificial intelligence. Pursued research in applications of natural language processing/machine learning to improve the way students learn and people interact with the world. Interested in applications of natural language processing to improve education and how we can use machine learning to develop effective control/decision making algorithms.

Developed 3D Visualization tool for Google Maps Geo Pose Team using Three.js and a Java backend. Encoded pose run trajectories efficiently using Protobufs and created 2D interactive map page using Google Maps JavaScript API. Finished product allows visualization of uploading pose runs in 2D, and then selection of any part of multiple runs for 3D visualization. Also developed personal portfolio through intern training program, using rotating tiles, BlobStore, Google Authentication, etc.

Sacramento, California Area

Worked to develop an internal web application using JSF, primefaces, and javascript to fetch/provide data services for other departments and provide an easy interface for accessing senate bills, daily files, and other services. Created a user login system with dynamic page content based on user permissions. Designed a schematic for a new prototype assembly floor voting hardware interface.
