- Responsible for the day to day management of this statewide membership and advocacy organization. - Also responsible for the overall financial operations. - Additionally, worked in conjunction with the Government Relations Director to advocate at the Minnesota Legislature on behalf of Minnesota State Parks and Trails projects throughout the State of Minnesota which has developed skills that would be helpful as a Government Relations Director. - Worked closely with the MN Dept. of Natural Resources and other organizations to provide for the protection and preservation of land for our State Parks and Trails.

- Enhanced relationships with local and state government officials - Accelerate communications among Chamber members, and conduct a review of the organization’s financial status. - Executive leadership role includes Profit and Loss management, revenue and cost saving strategies, general business management, operations, media relations, community relationships, and multi-million dollar budget management. - Represent the Chamber and its Board of Directors and serve as spokesperson at public hearings, press conferences, and business meetings which has developed skills that would be helpful as a Government Relations Director.

Championed and supervised the construction of a new office, cultivated relationships with local government officials, and negotiate contract with the county to operate a minor league baseball stadium. Led all operational aspects of organization. - Represented Chambers across New York by serving as the Chairperson of the Chamber Alliance of New York State; conducted scores of presentations focused on health insurance issues, grassroots advocacy efforts, and other subjects. - Championed a new government relations advocacy program in concert with the Business Council of New York State, which enabled businesses to participate and have a voice in important legislative issues. - Formed a 501(c-3) organization to support new educational, economic development, and arts program, and generate revenue to support programs. - Organized and led a campaign that raised $250,000 to help fund the construction of a new office. - Received a 4 Star accreditation rating from the US Chamber of Commerce – one of two Chambers in New York to achieve that rating in 2003.
