I am an Industrial Engineering major graduating December 2023 with 14 years of manufacturing experience and a passion for learning, growth, and continuous improvement. I have had the pleasure of learning the food manufacturing industry from the inside out where I participated in projects and daily tasks to increase productivity, improve quality, train others, and most importantly improve safety. My work in manufacturing led to my pursuit of an industrial engineering degree which has given me the tools to realize my passions and refine my problem-solving skills. I am excited to bring my unique perspective into the world of engineering as I combine hands-on experience with a fresh education and refined critical thinking skills. I value every opportunity to learn something new.I am looking forward to the next phase of my career development by attaining certifications and applying the knowledge I’ve gained. In addition, I am preparing for the FE exam and taking steps for a postgraduate education in engineering management. With every achievement I celebrate, I seek a new challenge to strive toward ensuring that I never remain stagnant.
