About Kishore Kumar
Computer Science & Engineering graduate from IIIT-H. Primarily like working on algorithmic challenges and high performance computing.Retired competitive programmer. Ranked Master on Codeforces (~#50 in India active) and have represented IIIT/India at the ICPC Asia-West Continent finals. I like solving algorithmic puzzles and teaching. On the performance computing side, I've worked on optimizing compiler codegen for unsequenced execution policies in a parallel runtime implementation of C++ stdlib. Have also worked on numerous other vectorization / parallelization problems. Some noteable achievements would be obtaining 2-4x performance boost in a core kernel in Intel's DNA sequence aligner and implementing my own highly optimised version of L1 BLAS operations which outperform BLIS & CBLAS on the machine it was hyper-optimized for.
