Managed a team of 3 and led a project rolled out nationwide to the 140+ branch network. I was responsible for analysis of company financials, end of month reporting, ad-hoc reporting, assisting with internal audits and assessing credit decisions with a DCL of $100k. I also represented the credit team in numerous business wide projects.

I assisted with end of month preparation and financial reporting for the finance team and assisted the HQ in Paris when required. I improved and developed procedures and provided staff training in new systems such as Microsoft Dynamics. I collated and prepared large volumes of data for reporting and presentation purposes for the credit team.

Responsible for conducting annual credit reports for a portfolio of customers, utilising Equifax credit reports, audited financials and excel to calculate DSR, Debt to EBITDA and various other ratios. For new business that fell within my designated portfolio I prepared new proposals. This involved analysis of financial performance, detailing the company history and its past and future outlook within its industry as well as its ownership structure. In addition to this I helped prepare financial analysis for the national credit manager for larger customers. Other duties included preparing a monthly spreadsheet tracking CDS spreads of our largest customers, and preparing new fleet agreements and novation documents. Furthermore, I assisted in assessing novated lease applications through analysis of current commitments such as mortgage repayments, personal loans and living expenses. I was involved in the newly established VOOM team that targeted streamlining vehicle leasing for small businesses seeking one or two vehicles.

I conducted annual reviews of smaller customers, assessing their future leasing needs going forward. I also developed my analysis skills through examining the annual financial results of customer companies, using excel to generate useful ratios and simplify data. This allowed me to gain experience at understanding financial statements, utilising the financial notes to better understand the balance sheet and profit or loss statements. Additionally, this information was used to calculate the viability of the customers meeting their future debt servicing obligations.
